The Midland Area Community Foundation provides over $2 million every year to support a wide variety of community programs. Grant applications are accepted four times each year.

Each year, the Saginaw Community Foundation infuses thousands of dollars back into the Saginaw County community in the form of grantmaking. Through its multiple grant programs and funds, the foundation supports a wide variety of programs and projects with the focus of improving the quality of life in Saginaw County’s communities.

EGrAMS (Electronic Grants Administration and Management System) Portal is State of Michigan grant management application portal to aid the grantee community in the search for grant opportunities state-wide. There are over 250 grant programs offered by the State grant making agencies. EGrAMS-MI.com allows one stop shop for organizations to access and find grants across State Departments.

he Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) coordinates grants to arts and culture organizations, cities and municipalities, and other nonprofit organizations to encourage, develop and facilitate an enriched environment of artistic, creative and cultural activity in Michigan.

The Michigan Humanities Council connects people and communities by fostering and creating quality cultural programs. In carrying out its mission, the Council encourages and supports, through advocacy, fundraising and community engagement, a variety of activities which bring humanities scholars and the public together to examine culture. Moving forward, the Council will: award grants for public humanities and cultural programs; conduct public humanities and cultural projects of statewide importance; initiate collaborations and partnerships to broaden and strengthen the organizational and institutional base for the humanities in Michigan; and provide the humanities with leadership and a public voice in Michigan.
