Students Are Talking about Library Instruction!
"...this course taught me many basic, yet valuable skills that will benefit me when using the library. There were many things I didn't know I could do and was very impressed with the amount of information I was provided with in such a short course!"
"I thought this course was helpful. The online library used to confuse me a lot, but having this course made it a lot easier to navigate."
"I didn't even realize that these tools were available, let alone how to use them. This tutorial was quick, easy to understand, and extremely helpful!"
How Does it Work?
Not sure what you need or what we offer? Click How it Works below for all the details and to sign your class up for the library instruction that works for you.
How-to videos and interactive learning tutorials are available on many library research and information literacy topics and are suitable for most Delta courses. These tutorials are easily linked or embedded in your eLearning course shell, and students can generate a certificate of completion that can be emailed or uploaded to your eLearning assignment.
Use this form to sign your class up for a tour! Tours are available online and cover our homepage and where to find digital resources. Tours of the library space will resume when Delta Library is open to the public.
Assign a Book-a-Librarian session to students who aren't finding the quality resources they need to succeed in your class. Students make an appointment, and meet with a librarian in an individual or small group session for personalized research help.
In-person library instruction is available, both in your classroom and in the library instruction room, when the library is open to the public. If your class is meeting in-person, and you want in-person instruction while the library is closed, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org
