The Library relies on subscription databases for access to peer-reviewed journal articles. We don't have many print journals on the shelf and while you might find a lot of article citations out on the open web, not many are freely available with full-text! Many are behind a paywall, on the deep web. Library databases also easily allow you to limit your searches to include ONLY peer reviewed articles and JSTOR ONLY searches peer reviewed/scholarly articles! They also generate a citation for you in your required style!
