This guide will connect you with art resources at Delta College Library.

• If you need help, use the contact information provided on the left or chat with a librarian by clicking on the "chat with a librarian" icon in the lower right corner of your screen. 

• Start with a google search or search an online encyclopedia to get some basic information about an artist you would like to research
• Doing some quick searches in advance can help you determine how much information is available on an artist. The artist you are researching could be someone from the past or a contemporary artist still creating art today.
• Collect information on your artist, such as what country they are from and what mediums they specialize in. You can use this information to add keywords to your search in library databases.
• Online encyclopedias may not contain information about contemporary artists, if their works are newer or created in the last 5-10 years.
