Constitution Day is September 17, 2025. In September of 1787, the Founding Fathers signed the most influential document in American history: The United States Constitution. We commemorate Constitution Day every year in remembrance of our rights and freedoms as citizens of the United States.
One theme this year for our Constitution Day celebration is freedom. Please stop by the library and visit the traveling exhibit Freedom in the United States, available at the library from 9/2/2025 until 9/25/2025.

American Constitution Movie!
Don't miss the free screening of the American Constitution on Thursday September 11th in the Lecture Theatre. This documentary is a a premier screening of The American Constitution, a film/documentary that will be released on PBS in 2026 and unveils the dramatic origin story of the Constitution that played out over the summer of 1787.
