When working in the healthcare settings you are more at risk for getting Covid. With getting the vaccine workers are able to work though worker shortages because the vaccine helps prevent hospitalizations. 

Some articles talk about how it is a healthcare workers ethical duty to serve and protect so they think making the vaccine mandatory that it is merely realizing their ethical obligation. 

The Covid vaccine was created very fast and missed phase II of the clinical trials. Phase II usually looks at 100-300 participants and investigates immunogenicity and determines the appropriate dose and optimal vaccine regimes. In phase III of traditional vaccine development, it looks at thousands of individuls and looks at efficacy and safety of the vaccine, this phase was completely missed. Normal vaccines take 10 to 15 years to develop. 

The vaccine is not 100% effective so why should anyone be told that they must get it because there is still a chance of getting Covid and giving it to others. 

If children do not have to get childhood vaccines to go to school or anywhere else why does anyone have to get the Covid vaccine?
