In conclusion, after analyzing teen pregnancy and the causes, there is a solution to prevent teen pregnancy. Firstly, teenagers should be provided with sex education, that does not heavily infer that the only solution to prevent pregnancy is through celibacy. Teenagers should be well educated on all the different forms of birth control such as condoms, IUD, vaginal ring, birth control shot, and much more. Secondly, teenagers should have access to some form of birth control while they are sexually active. If a teenager is sexually active and does not have access to birth control, as mentioned previously they can utilize the Detroit Health Department website and receive condoms for free. Having programs out there that do provide free birth control significantly decreases the number of teen pregnancies. As, it is having been shown that although teenagers may not have access to birth control it may not stop them from staying sexually active.
