Hate Crimes is a bias(es) against a race, religion, disability, sex orientation, ethnicity, gender or gender identity. A hate crime could be done to a person, property and society. 

Last year records of hate crimes went up a lot even in areas where level have not seen change since the 1990s. In New York police investigation was a total of 619 hate crimes up to an 18% increase since 1992. Los Angela the second most populated city in the U.S. had a total of 643 of hate crimes in 2022 up 13% of it highest number in 2001. 

In 2020 hate crime in Michigan against people was 353 (77.9%), In property 85 (18.8%), and in the society 15 (3.3%). In April of 2022 a man was charged with hate crimes for attempting to intimidate protesters in support of Black Lives Matter. In December of 2022 a man plead guilty to hate crimes for death threats against the same supporters. A man was indicted in Michigan for treating to kill a Jewish government official.  

We live in a time now where everyone want proof that they were there but do nothing to help (Video recording or going live on social media). We all can do our part in stopping hate crimes if we know of one being committed or one that had been committed, we can get help by calling 911 or our local station.
